"Pink Ball" - June 19, 2023
In this game, each group going off together makes up the "Team". Each "Team" is given an "MLGA" Pink Golf Ball to use during the round. Before starting the round teams determine in which order their players will use the "pink ball" to play that ENTIRE hole. If the ball is lost, team can no longer win but should continue to play as the individual scores count for handicaps.
Winners
Of the 20 teams that played in this game (70 golfers), less than 5 teams "lost" their pink ball. We had so many winners that we actually ran out of money to payout to the teams that brought the ball back.
Might have been a mistake to let the ladies go into the creek and retrieve their pink ball and continue to play the game. Officers may have to re-think how to play this for next year.
