"Ballwin Cup"

In this Event players are divided into two "Teams" ("Pink" or "Blue") based on Handicaps. A player from the "Pink" Team is paired against a player from the "Blue" Team who has the same or nearly the same Handicap, (skill level). These ladies play
against each other for "Points" based on better score on each hole during the round. At the end of the Event, the "Team" with the highest "Points" is awarded a small trophy and a cash prize. 66 ladies participated. With only an 6 point difference, 300 to 294, the PINK Team claimed the win. This was the closest "Ballwin Cup" in the history of the Event and tied the highest attendance. 65 ladies stayed for the lunch afterward, Amighetti Sandwich selection, salad, fruit and cheesecake/brownies for dessert.
